Privacy notice
Last updated: 2026-09-11
This page explains what CB Homes does with information you send through this website. It is short because the website does very little: there is no shop, no payments, no accounts and no login. There is a contact form, a request form on each guide, and a signup for the field notes.
What we collect
When you fill in the contact form, you choose to tell us:
- what kind of project you have in mind, and how far along your plans are
- where the land is — a city or a ZIP code. The field does not accept a street address
- whether you own the land, have it under contract, are still looking at it, or want help finding it
- when you would like to start, if you want to say
- your name and email address, and your phone number if you want to give it
- anything else you want to write in the note box
- how you heard about us, if you want to say
Our website also records, automatically, with each inquiry: which page you were on when you sent it, which page or site brought you here, the date and time, a note of which version of the form and of this notice were in use, and the result of a check that tells people apart from automated spam.
About the note box, and an address that may not be yours. People often tell us about a lot they are thinking of buying, and sometimes that means writing down its address. That property usually belongs to somebody else. If you put an address in the note box we use it only to answer your inquiry. We do not publish it, we do not tell the owner, we do not pass it to anyone else, and it is deleted along with the rest of your inquiry.
What we never collect here: we do not take payments on this website, we do not ask for financial or identification details, and you should not send them to us through this form.
What we do with it
We use what you send to answer your inquiry. Dale reads it himself. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to anyone else to market to you. We are not paid by anybody to pass your details on.
Companies that handle it on our behalf, and only on our behalf: the company that hosts this website, the email service we use, the service that delivers your inquiry to us, and the service that checks you are not a spam robot. They act on our instructions and are not allowed to use your information for anything else.
This website runs no advertising pixels, and the one third-party script on it is Google Analytics. We use it to count visits and see which pages get read. It is set not to build advertising audiences and not to share anything with Google's advertising products, and it is never sent your name, your email address or anything you type into a form. If any of that changes, this page changes first.
The field notes
The field notes are an email from the job site, written by Dale, about one a month. Signing up is the only place on this website that puts your address on a list.
When you sign up we collect your email address, your first name if you choose to give it, the date and time, where on the site you signed up, and a note of which version of the consent wording you agreed to. If you asked for the notes while sending an inquiry or requesting a guide, we also keep your surname, the area you told us about and the subject of the guide.
We ask you to confirm the address before anything is sent. You get one message with a link in it, and the page it opens has a button. Nothing is ever sent to that address unless somebody presses that button — so if your address was entered by mistake, or by somebody else, ignoring that message is all it takes.
The list lives on the server that runs this website, not on a mailing platform. The email service that sends our replies sends the field notes too, so it handles your address on our behalf; nobody else does. We do not sell the list and we do not swap it, and if we ever move it to a mailing company, that company is named on this page before the move.
Leaving is a link at the bottom of every message. It opens a page with one button, and that is the whole of it. You can also call or email us and we will do it for you. When you leave we delete your address and your name, and keep only a record that somebody at that address asked to leave, so that a later import cannot put you back on; ask us to delete that too and we will.
How long we keep an address. One that has been confirmed, until you leave. One that is never confirmed is deleted when its link expires, a week after the signup: we do not keep a list of people who never answered.
How long we keep it
If your inquiry does not turn into a project, we delete it 24 months after you send it. That is our policy, and it applies whether or not you ask.
If we end up working together, we keep your records for as long as we are working on your home, plus the warranty period, plus the time in which a claim could still be brought — because we may need them to honor that warranty.
An address you wrote in the note box goes on the same clock as the rest of your inquiry. It is not kept longer, and it is not kept separately.
You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time, sooner than either of those, and we will. See below.
Asking us what we hold, or to delete it
Call or text (817) 797-3496, or email dale@cbhomestx.com. Tell us you want to know what we hold or want it deleted, and we will do it. You do not need a reason and there is no form to fill in. We answer within one business day.
Children
This website is for people building or buying a home and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change how any of this works, we change this page and update the date at the top.
